We failed to get enough raiders to hit SSC last night. With 70 or so raiders in the guild, I don’t understand why we couldn’t get 25. I think we actually had 19 show up.
Oh well. 10 of us ended up in ZA much later in the evening. We did the gauntlet to the Eagle boss without any real difficulty. We somehow lost 2 dps’ers in the Eagle boss fight so it took a little longer but we got him down. We probably didn’t have enough time to get the Bear boss before the timer but we were pushing. Somehow the other tank went down on the last pull before the boss though and we wiped. After the rez we finished the pull and downed the Bear boss pretty easily. It was late at that point so we called it for the night. Hopefully we’ll finally give the dragonhawk boss a visit tonight.
The Bear boss was nice enough to give me the Jungle Stomper boots (still haven’t figured out how to link items) which I think is a pretty good upgrade from my Ironstriders of Urgency. I put a 15 stam gem in the new boots and upgraded to a 15 stam gem in my Khromium Destroyer. I am almost at 15K health unbuffed.
12 more badges to get my Sunguard legs. I have a Nethercleft Leg Armor kit and a +8 dodge gem ready to go. I need to get another 15 stam gem but I’m low on gold.

Hmm, when I started to run my own ZA group, I chose to go Bear and then Eagle when we were only shooting for 2 chests. Cuz you get 15 minutes on the timer for killing the Bear, and only 10 for killing the Eagle. So it seems like it makes it easier to do that order if the goal is 2 chests. Now, once you start shooting for 3 chests you’re going to want to start at Eagle, but maybe switching your order would lead to more consistently successful chests. Just a thought. Good luck!

Personally I wouldn’t go overboard on the 15 stam gems. For the conent you’re doing, +12 will be fine, and by the time you get somewhere you need the epic gems, you’ll be getting all new gear to gem and enchant anyway.
